Moonlight is woven with mulberry silk, merino wool, and cashmere. The weft yarn has been dyed with iron and logwood to create a deep blue color with gray and purple undertones. Contrasting strongly with the silver warp, this shawl resembles a moonlit night sky. The shawl has a heavier drape due to the thicker wool and cashmere blend used to weave it, and will provide ample warmth in the coming winter months.
