Moonlight

Moonlight is woven with mulberry silk, merino wool, and cashmere. The weft yarn has been dyed with iron and logwood to create a deep blue color with gray and purple undertones. Contrasting strongly with the silver warp, this shawl resembles a moonlit night sky. The shawl has a heavier drape due to the thicker wool and cashmere blend used to weave it, and will provide ample warmth in the coming winter months. The fringes have been finished in the signature Hemma Textiles fashion, in a combination of twists and braids. This shawl is a one-of-a-kind piece.

Warp: 100% mulberry silk naturally dyed with indigo, iron, and logwood.

Weft: 60% merino wool, 30% mulberry silk, 10% cashmere

Dimensions: 68.5” long by 23.75” wide, with an additional 6” in fringes (174cm x 60cm, with 15cm fringes)
